Art in Medicine (AiM) is a pioneering not-for-profit organization established in 2023 at the intersection of healthcare and the arts. Its mission is to seamlessly merge the realms of art and medicine by fostering a profound understanding of their intrinsic connection.

Art in Medicine (AiM) offers a unique platform for healthcare professionals to explore the depths of art analysis and translate those insights into their medical practice, to cultivate a more holistic approach to healing.

By bridging the ever-widening gap between the analytical precision of medicine and the emotional resonance of art, AiM inspires healthcare professionals to become compassionate and culturally sensitive human beings, which ultimately will lead them to be better practitioners.

  • AiM's talks and grand rounds introduce medical students, trainees and staff to the integration of art in medicine, fostering reflective practice, enhancing observation skills, and promoting compassion in themselves and their practice.

  • AiM’s conferences and workshops are tailored to their audience in the healthcare space. Each session emphasizes using art to enhance observation, reflection, and communication skills, fostering compassion and a holistic approach to care, while encouraging collaboration between art and medicine.

  • AiM will be hosting a conference for healthcare professionals in October 2025, designed to explore the integration of art in medical practice.

    This cutting-edge conference will offer interactive workshops and discussions, focusing on enhancing observation, reflection, and communication skills to promote a compassionate approach to healthcare.
